Our “Tile Room” actually contains a large variety of materials. Ceramic tile is a term that can refer to either traditional ceramic tile or the denser, harder porcelain tile. The principle difference between the 2 is that the porcelain tile is made of much smaller particles of clay that are pressed more tightly and fired at a higher temperature to produce a finer grained, harder tile that is more resistant to water. We also include glass tile in our tile room. Used alone or as an accent to other materials, glass tiles add sparkle and color to your rooms. Metal medallions can also be used as accents to your finished design. We carry many different decorative elements to give you a full palette for designing your walls, floors and back splashes.
Mike’s Carpet Connection has some of the best tile mechanics in the area. Don’t stop with the floors, though. Walls and backsplashes, tub surrounds, and spas all benefit from the extra elegance of natural stone and fine ceramic and porcelain tiles.
This elegant bath could be yours. Your flooring sales consultant can help you select natural stone, porcelain and ceramic tiles in different shapes and colors to coordinate a look that will be entirely your own.
